So call me (out), baby

THE OPTIONS

Chii (Chobits)
Shizuo Heiwajima (Durarara!!) [[Usually post 13th novel]]
/ Kyoko Megami/Setsuka Heel (Skip Beat!) [[Same character, two identities]]
Gou Matsuoka (Free!)
Eliot Spencer (Leverage)
Kaj Fordu (Original) [[Click this link for info. More limited to various game world settings, or showing up in hopes of having one of the involved's day ruined. Kaj is also pronounced like it is in Kajsa.]]

THE HOW-TO
  • Make a top-level comment choosing one of the muses above.
  • Make up any scenario, even game settings if you say which!
  • Can be in any sort of format. Formal/Informal/comment spam/w/e
  • Some of these are probably either lacking icons or have all the good ones locked from back in their premium days. Either those or they're placemakers for when I'm not so lazy and color better icons. Not a how-to, but a heads up.

Ah, there we go... A brief wave of exhilaration is probably not the appropriate response to what, for most people, would qualify as a murder attempt, but the wait has lasted long enough, and Izaya is pleased that things are finally getting started. Watching Shizuo get ever more irritated had a certain charm, but Izaya can only summon so much patience when he's not directly involved in what's happening.

He's prepared for the attack, of course - he's been prepared from the start - and, rather than dodging the approaching vending machine, he jumps up, balancing on the slanting surface until it succumbs to gravity and settles on the ground with a loud crash. His coat billowing from the landing, Izaya stays where he is, right on top of that vending machine, because... why not? Besides, he does so enjoy looking down on people.

"Honestly, I'm surprised it took you that long. I've been dropping hints from the moment you left home." Not actually true, but close enough - and who'd prove him wrong, anyway? The truth is a matter of perception, and Izaya knows just how to create it to his satisfaction. "I almost think you're regressing even further, Shizu-chan."
