T-Minus 15 Hours
Jun. 25th, 2004 06:53 pmWOOT!!!!!! See that title? Thats the countdown until graduation.... At a rough estimate at least. Tomorrow, while walking down one of the many isles, I'ma be getting up to the stage and getting my 'diploma' after 2 hours of the ceromony.
Oh yeah.... I got accepted to all the colleges I applied to. FIT and NCC.... one (FIT) is the top fashion college from designing, to modelling and tailoring. Very hard to get into. As is NCC, seeing how I had to earn my way in there. Though plenty of famous fashion designers went to FIT, I decided to do the Nassau thing and transfer to FIT. Oh, and NCC had Chris Rock attending there and Billy Crystal. (Though Chris left when he got all famous, Billy graduated) So theres my gloating.
Oh... I gotta set my hair, do my nails, find something semi-formal to wear, iron my gown set my alarm, find my shoes.... @_@ Aiya.....
But after my niece, Julia, and I will be grads and celebrating right after. Then later that night my sister and mom will be leaving for Florida real fast (giving me 2 days alone home)and then a portfolio thing at nassau on monday along with a shopping outting with someone as a gift to me and starting my work on my costume for something. I dont know exactly what Im gonna be, but its gonna work out in the end. I know it seeing how I'm being positive like that.
Okay now ya'll are possibly (most likely) confused.
1. My highschool is Brentwood High School, 800 grads, in Long Island, NY.
2. FIT- Fashion Institute of Technology (in Manhattan)
3. NCC- Nassau Community College (I live in Suffolk so I have to really earn my way in)
4. Graduation tomorrow and me getting things ready.
5. Julia and I are in the same grade and are graduating at the same time but at different schools. Though she's older, I was just born late in the year.
6. Its the last part of my registration into my apparel design major at Nassau. 11:30AM on Monday
7. I try to keep a positive attitude to lessen the stress. The costume is for Otakon and I wanted to Cosplay at least one of the three days Im there, so Im gonna make my costume.
Okays, I'ma gonna end this now. Maybe update tomorrow and gloat on how Im finally a graduate and alone and stuff with Alan (my babe).... So Peace out ya'll!
