Everyone but Danni, ignore this. I'm providing a loophole to her issue of being stranded in the mountains with a crappy computer.

Wallace exited the Great Hall, almost running into Evelyn; yet another student he was now working alongside with. She looked slightly flushed and if he didn’t know any better, he would say that she had perhaps left the other professors behind while she went off somewhere for “business”.
“Evelyn. Georges has it all in order I’m sure. By the looks of it, you showed him. I’ll see you in an hour or so with all our new pupils. A new year, new students and mostly a new faculty.” He gave a curt nod and disappeared around the corner. He was on his way to the grand foyer that lead to the two sets of stairs that made their way up to dorms, classrooms and the great hall. Like most magical schools, Lisheen contained all sorts of passages and passes. One of them included the path to the train platform. They would arrive any minute now. And then, the feast!

Glancing out the grand windows, he could see the sun setting over the forest. The students would be able to see it for a fleeting moment before driving through into the tunnel and under the ground. Total blackness would envelop them and then the dread. Wallace would always be reminded of his own school experience and his first ride on the train.

“Good luck son…”
“Thanks father!”
“Now, as all Wishburn’s, you’ll be in Nemetina. Make me proud boy.”
“Of course father.”
Wallace hoped onto the train as it started to leave. A daredevil, he had to wait until the train was leaving the platform before he would even start towards it.
“Goodbye mum!” He called out through a window. He could see his mum getting teary eyed as her little boy left for almost a year. Knowing him, he wouldn’t come home for Christmas.

Sitting down in a compartment, he saw a few older kids scuttle by the indoor window also trying to find seats. They already had their robes on and all had Nemetina colours sprinkled over the crest and their hats.
“Are you guys in Nemetina?” Wallace asked as he pushed the sliding door across.
“Of course!” An older boy smirked. He knew who this kid was. The Wishburn family was famous. “I suppose you’re Wallace.”
“Yep!” The goofy grin returned.
“Well, you’ll be in Nemetina alright. And make sure to hang around the right people.” The older boy raised an eyebrow knowingly before making his way from the hallway to push a little girl from a compartment to make room for him and his friends.

“You okay?” He asked the little girl who nodded. “First year?” Another nod. “Me too! Come sit with me, we can be friends.”
“Alright.” Heaving her large trunk behind her and setting it on the seat beside her, she held out her hand. “I’m Natalie. Natalie Nettle.”
“Wallace, Wallace Wishburn.” He shook her hand greedily.

“Come along first years. This way please. I am Professor Plum. Ha! Professor Prufius Plum. What alliteration! Now, follow me. The sorting ceremony will begin shortly and you’ll all be put into your houses. I teach transfiguration and will probably teach every one of you. Better like me then ‘eh?” The short bearded professor continued to chuckle at his own jokes before pottering along to the great hall.
“Now, let’s begin!”

“Ah… poor Professor Plum. Rest in peace.” He had died, late into Wishburn’s seventh year. No one really knew how. It was him that made Wallace want to become a teacher, and strive high for transfiguration.

It was also Plum who taught Wishburn how to become an animagus. His form took the same as his late professors: a wolf; cunning and quick but wise.

“Acrotantula.”

A tall wizard statue made a short bow before stepping aside to reveal a small crawl space. Making it expand with a flick of his wand, Wishburn started to make his way down to the platform. He could hear the train coming in to a stop, the whistle blowing and the steam rising from it’s funnel could be seen drifting from the dark end of the tunnel.
